Prepare Like the Zombie Apocolypse
Crime just seems like it happens all the time because they send you messages every time something bad happens. However, one should still prepare, as theft is the most commo thing here. I started by not putting anything of value near the doorway/windows so as to not give anyone any ideas, keep my stuff locked, and to pack some heat unless SHTF.

That is the motto of Murfreesboro. Cops are lenient as hell. For instance, some friend of mine in the past ran around campus after he ran away from us drunk as hell flirting with chicks and stuff. We got to him as the cops stopped his dumbass and were allowed to escort him home. Yea.

Construction, Non Existant Bike Paths, and Feral Cats
There's few ways except to walk to maneuver around campus. I suppose you could use a bike or something, but you have to be wary of Murfreesboro's hungover pedestrians, as there are no bike paths. Also, if you must walk, you must brave the shadows and depths of MTSU, fending off rabies infested felines and hipsters with promotional posters.
