They police force I barely see around UNC. I see them enough to know that they could easily respond to situations but not enough to feel like they are breathing down your back.

There is a plethora of housing options right around UNC but they general all come with two draw backs. Either they are far enough away that you would have to drive in or take a bus. This would be annoying if you wanted to go back and forth a couple times a day. The other option is that they are pretty sketchy.

First I want to say I will keep living in the dorms. However some of them can get really loud at night and they are not always kept up the best. They do offer great living on campus though and that is what makes them shine.
