There are plenty of options for Greek life at JSU. Greek life is there for parties and some other events. It's not a big deal if you are in a frat or sorority, and it is not a big deal if you never set foot in one.
There are plenty of places to live if you do not want to live on campus. There are apartments around the campus and also small houses very close by. With so many options close by, it's pretty convenient living. The cost is not too bad either.
There are many different classes and professors to choose from at JSU. The registration process is fairly simple as long as you sign up to meet with your advisor early. The amount of work you have greatly depends on what professor you have. JSU offers a tutoring service not only in person, but also online. Many people get a lot of studying done at the library.
Pretty Safe – I feel fairly safe on campus. I've heard of people getting attacked on our campus. During the day I feel perfectly safe, but at night, I always call someone when I walk to my car, because I know there are crazy people in this world. But I do appreciate the fact that we are able to call the UPD and get an escort if we want one.
Right from the start, the professors really let you know how tough it is to get into the nursing program, but they let you know that they will help you with what they CAN, which still isn't alot. They let you know that it's tough once you get in the nursing program. They also let us know that upon graduation, we WILL get a job. They let you know exactly what you're getting into, and even intimidate you a little.
To interact and contribute on College Prowler, registration is required. Don't worry, it's free, secure, and only takes a few minutes.Close
