Things to Do
SCU is located pretty much in between Santa Clara and San Jose. The freeway entrance is close by so if you have a car you can drive almost anywhere. The ValleyFair mall is just a 10 min bus ride away. There are also good restaurants close to campus that are nice to eat at and are at a walkable distance. Also, on campus there are a lot of activities to take part in, and also sports teams to go to the games.

Computers
There a good amount available in the library on different floors. They of course get crowded and aren't as available during crunch times like midterms and finals, but besides that you can usually find one that isn't being used at the moment. Most people do have they're own laptops, and WIFI is offered anywhere as long as it's on campus.

Smooth but Could Have a Bit More Reminders
The financial aid process is fine, runs smoothly and the people in the office are very willing to help. I just wish they reminded me when I should renew my financial aid (because you have to refill out the forms every year), and for my sophomore year I submitted it in pretty late. It was still accepted, but I just did not get as many grants as I would've if I'd turned it in a lot earlier if they had reminded me the correct submit date.
