Can anyone comment on the caliber of the Honors College?

I would like to know this as well. How much extra work are honors classes? Does it feel worth it?

Is the school cliquey like people have said? Are students mature, smart, and kind or petty? Do students at L&C love their school?

I was accepted EA to Northeastern, is it possible that due to my improved grades on my midyear report that I could have my scholarship raised? Will they reevaluate my original financial aid award when they get my fafsa?

I don't think so the only reason they ask for your grades after admissions, is because they want to make sure that you stay on track!

If there has been a change in finances between the time you sent the CSS and the corrected FAFSA, it's worth asking them to take a second look.

What is the average class size and are a great deal of classes managed by TAs?

Most of my 200+ lectures are broken down into recitations which is managed by a TA. But if the class is smaller, there's not really a need for the TA.

How are the english lit and writing programs at vcu?

Pretty tough, but they are essential in order to progress. I am glad that I am getting the help I need in order to improve.

They're very hard and challenging at times, but worth the time and effort.

What is the relationship between CC and the Air Force Academy like?

Not too prevalent. Sometimes you'll see cadets around campus and a lot of the CC girls get invited to the Air Force Ball (basically their homecoming) but otherwise its pretty much nonexistent.

How are the humanities and social sciences programs?

Well I havent taken a lot of classes in the programs yet, but from what I have seen they are really good!

I am unfortunately not a major in the Humanities and Social Sciences programs.

Then why would you respond to this post?

How are the foreign language and international relations/affairs programs?

They are very diverse and they make it to where they want the entire student body of all races and ethnicities to come out to their planned events.

International programs do a good job of emphasizing the importance of diversity, but 101 Foreign language programs can be hit-or-miss.

I am not taking foreign languages, but there are a lot of programs for it and lots of international students. We have a good international program here.

How are the international affairs and foreign language programs?

Very convenient due to the diversity of people, race, creed, and ethinicity in america.

This doesn't really answer my question...
