It's the City
If you're a very urban person, you'll love it. It's in the heart of Manhattan (but food venues are also very expensive because of this.. so you'll most likely end up eating in the cafeteria or halal all the time) If you like doing outdoorsy things more such as hiking, biking, etc, its not TERRIBLE since Central Park is right there but overall you wouldn't be a perfect fit here if you're into those things.

You Must Have Your ID Card to Swipe Into Every Building
It's pretty safe on campus, I've never felt endangered even though I took a lot of evening courses. You need your ID card to basically get everywhere, including the library even if you're already in the physical building. It's also in a safe neighborhood.

It's Decent Weather
New York City weather is mild. You'll get all four seasons and none of it is very extreme.
