Nightlife @ Rice
For those students, who feel like they have the time, Houston has a lot to offer them. Rice pays for student's use of all public transportation, which is very convenient, as there are two train stops along the edge of the university. Whether you need to find a party, a club, a concert... Its all there. That being said, most of the stuff can be found on campus on any given night as well.

Rice University Works With You
Rice University Police Department (RUPD) is a student's friend. While they handle dangerous situation seriously, if no one is a danger, they are very chill. They work for you, not against you. Students have a lot of respect for them, and they return that respect to us.
