My son picked a roommate out on roomsync, roommate notified us yesterday he will not be able to attend ECU. So what now? Really dont want my son to not have a roommate and have dorm room to himself, especially coming in as a freshman and not knowing anyone!!!

I am an entering freshman too! And at the begining of the semester there will be a roomate swap option so of he wants a roomate he can put in for roomate swap and get one that way.

I'm a mom of an up coming freshman. Which neighbor will be the best for him? We chose West as 1st choice then College Hill as 2nd. Any pointers you can give me as a parent and sending my son off to college?

West End and College Hill are both great neighborhoods. I lived on College Hill for two years. There's a lot to do at both ends (gym, food, outdoor areas, etc.), both are safe, and both provide a little break from school life without getting too far.

Which is a better choice for new male freshman, West or college hill??

Most of your classes will probably be closer to college hill. But West End has better dining.

Admitted to fall 2013, what is the best neighborhood for freshmen and can freshmen drive and park on campus??

Freshmen can drive and from what I heard College Hill is more active, more parties and night life. While West and Central Campus are more quiet because of the classrooms nearby.

I live on college hill and I really like it here. Everyone on the hill is really nice and it's not too far from classes.
