Amenities on Campus

Texas Tech University is well equipped and has many amenities for it's students. The Rec center, Lazy River pool, many libraries and food places to eat at have great services and are open though the day to accommodate the schedule of almost every student. For example our main Library is open 5 days a week 24 hours, which makes a great environment to cram before a test and study into the night without having to leave. The lazy river is another great feature and it's a great place to relax and interact with other students after a long day or during a break. The university had many organizations which student can get involve as well as many inter murals sports throughout the year.

There's Always Something to Do.

Most of the night life starts usually on Thursday night since it's college night at the clubs and many of them don't charge coverage. The main place where most of the bars and clubs are at is on Buddy Holly Ave, which the university offers a bus there and back until 3am from Thursday to Saturday. There's always parties on the weekends most of the times they are at the apartments close to campus and at Tech Terrace. The clubs in Lubbock aren't many but they offer a wide variety of club scene among them. On University Ave. right across campus there are many places to dine out and other bars, which are the more populars. There's something to do all the time.
