Better Than I Thought!

Athletics are bigger here than I expected, and its great. You can be as involved or as far away from sports on campus as you want, but there is a lot of Lafayette pride. The gym is incredible for athletes and non athletes alike, and athletic trainers are always available. Athletes are treated really well by the administration, and are respected by their peers.

So Much Fun

Even though I'm personally not Greek, I love the Greek system on campus. Rush is sophomore year for both guys and girls, which I think is such a good thing - the transition to college is stressful enough without having to think about frats and sororities. The Greek system provides social groups for lots of upperclassmen, and Greek houses often run events like haunted houses or ice cream socials (in addition to parties). Groups of close friends will commonly pledge to different houses, and those who are not Greek are not looked down upon at all.
