Difficult, Personalized Education
The academics here at Allegheny are quite hard, especially compared to larger universities. However, the professors truly push you to reach your full potential. Allegheny is not a large research university, but because of this, there are so many opportunities for undergraduate research and teaching assistant jobs. This gives me experience to get an internship and eventually a job.

Present on Campus, but Not Overbearing
I am a member of a sorority, and I am very happy to be in one. There are many stereotypes of sororities being catty towards each other, but that is not the case. Being in a sorority (or a fraternity) does not limit your circle of friends to just your brothers/sisters. It is also not necessary to join a greek organization to have a social life. Greek life is there on campus, but it is not a big deal if you do not participate.
