Very Safe
Aside from some petty crime, maybe the occasional b & e, I feel very safe walking around Ann Arbor. As a town, its pretty harmless.

This is Michigan for God sakes. Get to a hockey game - this is one of the great college athletic departments. It's not just a football school.

Public Ivy
This is a state school, where I pay in state tuition, and it competes with the best schools in the world. A fantastic institution.
