The Closer the More Expensive but Convenient
The closer the housing is to the school,the more expensive the rent becomes. However, most of the housing I saw were close by to a shopping center. The school provides off campus housing but you would need to ask the admissions office for help regarding which places are open. If you were to find your own housing then it becomes cheaper but it is more of a hassle.

Very Diverse
If your looking fore diversity, then UCLa is the place to find it. ALthough there is not an equal amount of each race, you can probably find at least one person from a certain country. UCLA puts in extra effort to fill the school with rich culture.

The Big Blue Bus
The fastest way to travel besides by car is through the big blue bus. This bus has a direct route to UCLA called the S12, Super 12. Any other bus would take forever to get you to school or back but if you take the bus, make sure to take the super 12 because its fast and affordable. Only $.35 to ride if your a student.
