Very Accepting of Minorities
Oberlin College has a very diverse campus with many organizations designed to make people with varying beliefs and lifestyles feel comfortable. They even provide living space for people who are exploring their sexuality, a substance-free living area and a dormitory with only female residents. The students are mostly liberal and very concerned and active in providing and developing a "green" energy-saving campus.

If you are into hippy culture and love girls who dress as though they are living in the 80's and guys who wear really skinny jeans, this is the place for you. People in the conservatory are generally better dressed, but in the college, everyone is as hipster as it gets.

What Athletics?
I have heard of the existence of sports teams on campus, but have never witnessed their members or their games... I saw a couple of people who might have been jocks, but maybe they were just taking a walk through the campus.
