Campus Dining at Gettysburg College

A

Food Options

there are four places to eat on campus: Servo, the Dive, Bullet Hole, Ike's, and the pizza place.

servo is the main dining facility and serves many different types of food ranging from swordfish steaks to pizza. the school is constantly trying to stay within the top 20 in dining services.

the dive is a smoothie shop inside the athletic center and serves some of the best foods but you are limited to cash and dinning dollars.

the bullet hole is a sub shop like subway in that you can make your own sub either 6" or 12". unlike the bullet hole you can exchange one of your meals from servo for a meal at bullet or you can use dining dollars.

Ike's is an Italian restaurant that serves pizza pasta etc. you can use dining dollars or cash.

the pizza place is not a part of the schools dining services however it is still on campus grounds. it is the most popular place to eat late at night the food is decent but expensive.

Athletics at Gettysburg College

B+

Student Involvment

because the burg is a small liberal arts college a good portion of the student body are student athletes. but for those who aren't or there sport is not in season there is not a huge support for the sports teams (except lacrosse). also another thing to remember is that schools that have between 2,000 and 5,000 students the stadium feels a lot like a high school sports team. although it is at a higher level there is less school spirit than a D1 school. but dont get school spirit mixed with school pride, every one at every school has school pride.

Parking at Gettysburg College

A-

Parking

there is not a lot of parking and if you do have a car you need a permit. but the good thing is that a car is not helpful in everyday commuting unless you live off campus or are part of a club that needs transportation (ROTC, Horseback riding, hockey).
