Are people primarily democrats? Are people accepting if you are not?

People are primarily democrats at Lawrence. While there are few who aren't, I do know a few Republicans and people are accepting of all political beliefs and all peoples in general.

The campus is mostly liberal, but I know people who aren't democrats and people are very accepting.

Is there an Honors College/program for the arts and sciences?

This isn't high school with a low level and honor level courses. Lawrence is all honors level.

Is it difficult to get into the L&S Honors program? Are there any special benefits if you are accepted?

From what I hear, it is not very competitive to get in.
