Little to Worry About
On campus, and even off campus I have never felt uncomfortable or worried that I would be harmed or have something stolen. BUPD is always patrolling (particularly at night) to keep you safe, even though they can be a hassle about parties sometimes.

One of the Better Aspects of BU
West Campus dining open 7 am to 9 pm. Can always have a meal available for you. Although there is no late night, there are always off-campus options.

Hit or Miss
Freshman housing, particularly on East Campus, can be a crapshoot. It is expensive and in some cases the rooms are not new and are very small. Upperclassmen apartments are like a 5 star hotel despite the high price.
