Parking is not much of an issue here in Stillwater for a resident on Campus. There seem to be ample enough spaces for all residents, and since the campus is so relatively small compared to other campuses, walking is much more convenient than driving one's car from one side of campus to the other.

A Small and Quiet Town – The local atmosphere in Stillwater, Oklahoma is that of your typical nice and quiet college town in the Midwest. I feel very safe in such a city like Stillwater because of the lack of wild and crazy things going on. If I had to suggest places for non-locals to eat around Stillwater, I would not come up with too many names because there are not that many places to choose from in the first place. The atmosphere is truly quaint and quiet, quiet enough to hear the crickets at night.

Stillwater Is Small – I am a vegetarian and it is very hard to find a vegetarian place here in the heartland of Beef Country. I wish there were more options (in general too) to pick from in Stillwater.

Small Town, Not Too Much Going on – Being in such a small town like Stillwater, not much goes on to a point where I feel very safe and secure here on campus. There are hallways lights and street lights that are always on, as well as the emergency beacons in almost every direction. I feel very safe here on campus.
