Very Accessible Due to the Large Availability.
There are an abundance of computer labs, libraries, study areas, and other places at UC Irvine that students have access too. Other than the major libraries on campus that offer access to a desktop, there are several study centers around campus that have computers as well. The entire campus has a fast wireless access that can be easily available to any student or guest.

Not Big on Drugs.
UC Irvine is strict on their drugs and drinking policies so usage of drugs and alcohol is limited to parties that occur usually on the weekends. Drugs aren't as popular, and very rarely seen compared to drinking. People don't force others to do drugs or drink but rather more focused on their own enjoyment.

Zero Tolerance
UC Irvine understands and respects the fact that their students are adults. They also expect the students to be responsible for their actions and in certain situations, be ready to face the consequences. The consequences are fair and not too harsh. Their main concerns are campus and student safety as well as the quality of the learning environment.
