Off-Campus Housing
All students are not allowed to live off-campus during the school years. There are a variety of choices: dorms, houses, apartments and annexes for on-campus housing, but they are fairly expensive than the off-campus housing. Students who want to remain at school over summer choose to live in off-campus housings, and find it so much cheaper to live off-campus. Yet, our dorms and on-campus housings are pretty nice, except that some halls such as Seaton Hall doesn't have enough heaters. Other than that, the halls are convenient, and safe (safe as in only on-campus), not off-campus. Finding an apartment or the whole house outside is much more cheaper especially if there are enough people to share the cost.

Diversity
As Albion is a small community, it isn't that diverse. Whites are the majority, but there are a moderate number of African Americans, lots of Asian Americans, and international students from China, Nepal, Greece, and even from a very small country like Myanmar. Though the international student body is still small, it has increased three times as much this year as last year. Plus, our international office is really friendly and tends to work closely with the international students in a personalized way. The office also organizes touring trips and shopping trips for the convenience of the international students. Plus, there are clubs such as Diversity Awareness, and International Student Union for Diversity.

Athletic Facilities
Albion College is not famous for athletics, though there is a pretty high number of athletics. Yet, the college overall is more supportive of the medical science fields than the athletic field. But, our Dow Center, which is our sports center and gym is a big one with all the great equipments for working out, or sports practices, with a swimming pool too. It is also attached to two or three wide track and field, and football fields, (I can't remember exactly). There is also an indoor basketball hall in another building. So, it's like there's always proper place for almost all kinds of sports.
