Montana State has a wide variety of student school athletics as well as a spacious campus with fields and sport equipment rentals for the weekend enthusiast! Montana State sports teams have a state wide fan base of unwavering Bobcat student and alumni fans willing to travel hours to support away games. New gym facilities with basketball, racket ball, and tennis courts as well as workout and even an indoor rock wall are available to students and affiliates alike. The opportunities with the Bobcats are endless no matter your interests!

Gallatin Valley
Though winter is usually pretty long, and sometimes really cold, in Bozeman, MT, it presents some of the best skiing and snowboarding opportunities in the United States. Despite the large campus, classes by major are fairly centralized and buildings are pretty close together making your exposure to the cold and weather not so bad. If you are interested in the nightlife in downtown Bozeman, the walk is fairly quick as well as the availability of public transportation makes travel easy!
