Expensive and Crowded
Eating on campus during lunch time is a zoo. Too many people and long lines. There is practically no cheap food in walking distance except for the one fast food restaurant across the street.

90210
Think upper middle-class LA. Everyone could be on 90210. Good-looking, white and fashionable. A lot of Abercrombie, sorority girls and jocks, big on the football games and school pride. Barely any artsy, hipster, punk, gothic or otherwise subculture students.

Expensive but You Can Park Off-Campus
A parking permit is $828/year, $6/day. There is always parking. Luckily, there is also always street parking to be found a few blocks away, particularly near frat row. There are USC security guards posted at nearly every corner and the USC shuttle comes twice an hour and will bring you to campus if you don't want to take the 10 minute walk. If you live on campus you probably don't need a car.

Social Work
The School of Social work is only for graduate students. It is rather small and for the most part everyone's classes are in the same building and are program is very standardized so all first-years will have the same classes, same syllabus, etc. This makes it nice so that even if your friend isn't in your class you can still discuss your assignments. The workload is not too strenuous, about one paper 3-8 pages per week. We have a cool student lounge specifically for social work with computers, comfy chairs, tables, vending machine and a microwave, which is pretty cool. Regrettably, we do not have a library specific for us, but the Leavey Library is open 24/7. The school sets you up with an internship within your first month and this will be half of your schooling. Regrettably I am not that impressed with the professors. They do not seem to be the brightest.

University Village
University Village has tons of different ethnic foods to try and it is right across the street. Unfortunately, it's all rather expensive for a student budget, except for the one fast food restaurant.

Pleased With USC
I like USC: it is a beautiful campus, I love how close-knit the school of Social Work is, I really enjoy the internship aspect of it, and the weekly papers are manageable. Trojan Alumni seem to be very supportive of fellow Trojans. The only drawbacks would be how expensive the school is and that the professors are not that impressive, especially for what I am paying for.
