Nice Dorms
Towers Complex is very nice, although you will stay in shape walking to class. Northwest is also nice. I would avoid West Campus if at all possible because they are very old dorms. Overall, the dorms are fine and, as always, they are what you make them.

No Parking Till You Are an Upper Classman
Close parking for commuter students is pretty scarce. Students who live on campus almost never move their cars, so getting a spot close to where you live might be a challenge. If you don't mind walking there are spots for everyone--but fair warning, don't park illegally or you will be ticketed (usually about $30-50). Also, students are not allowed to have cars until they have enough credits to be considered a junior.

Food and Options Great at All Dining Units
I have to disagree with the review that Buckley and North are less desirable places to eat. Each of the dining units has a unique flair, but they all share a quality menu and a lot of options. Buckley for example has a great atmosphere that a lot of arts and music students really enjoy. Overall, I've enjoyed my time at UConn and have always boasted that we have the best food options out of any college I've visited.
