Not That Much Diversity

They're are people of pretty much every ethnicity, religion, political belief and sexual orientation at Colby but they're not necessarily respected and are very much in the minority. As Colby does not offer any scholarships, most students tend to be white, upper middle class Americans from New England. However there are other kinds of students there, you just have to work harder to find them.

Amazing!

I absolutely adore Colby!! I have met some of the best friends of my life and have met quite a few interesting people. We're a very athletic campus, but not just varsity sports so everything is so communal and it's small size makes it easy to get to know everyone! I know by face every single person in my class which gives it such a sense of community. I feel comfortable going anywhere on campus to any party and am guaranteed to know at least one person everywhere I go and in most of my classes. There's a great balance of social vs. academic life here, and almost everyone is very friendly and outgoing. I don't ever want to leave!!
