Everyone Lives on Campus
It's a great community! First Years, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors live on the same floors so you have the opportunity to get to know people in all class years.

School Spirit Not in the Sports
The teams are always winning some championship, however there is a lack of fan support. We have school spirit, but it comes out more in pride of our academic achievements and pride of our community in general. It's hard to get excited about Blue... that's our mascot.. the color blue.

Boston!
Downtown Wellesley is not the main attraction. The "Ville" as we call it has a few places to be a consumer: Lemon Thai Cuisine, J.P. Licks Ice Cream, Brueggers Bagels, and Upper Crust Pizzera, Starbucks, Gap, a book store and CVS.
The main attraction is the proximity to Boston. Just a bus ride a way is the largest college town in America. Enough said.

Baby It's Cold Outside
Walking to class in ice and snow is not fun. Snow days are unheard of. Two feet of fresh powder... classes continue. Ice storm... classes continue. The school does a good job of keeping most of the pathways clear, but sometimes the weather is just so bad they really should give everyone a snow day. If you invest in comfy winter gear the weather can even be fun. It is a tradition to sled down Severance Green, a big hill on campus. The Fall and late Spring are pretty pleasant except for when it rains for three days straight. Admittedly, it's hard to complain when the campus is so beautiful in all weather.
