Nothing to do in Tallahassee if you do not like drinking/recreational drugs. FSU is an enormous party school, so if you like that scene you will not be bored. If, however, you are not into binge drinking constantly for entertainment, you will spend most days hanging out at home.

Better Than on Campus by a Ton
Tally has a lot of really good restaurants; one of the few things to do in the city is eat out (though if you do this all the time you will probably gain some weight!). Try to get away from the campus areas for the better quality options- lots of good places on the north side of the city.

Why the H*** Would You Live in a Dorm???
The better housing is farther away from the school, although most students live in the blocks surrounding campus to be near the party scene. If you don't mind driving moving farther away will give more bang for your buck; if you just want a cheap "college" apartment they are not in short supply by any means- you'll find tons surrounding the school.

Intelligent Students Beware!!!
If you worked hard at all during high school and care even the smallest bit about the quality of your education, I implore you, please reconsider coming to Florida State. Please take this advice from a person who made all the right choices except one and do not choose this university. You deserve so much more than what FSU has to offer; please, please, please consider your other options- you will be much happier in the long run!
