Sports and Athletics as a Whole
As for the sports at our school, they are relatively succesful. Most sports have had at least 2 or 3 titles in our league and some win continuously. However, due to the terrible football team, USD sports get little attention or fan support. Some more than others, like volleyball and basketball are popular to watch, but in general there is little involvement of the student body in cheering on the teams.

Lack of Life on Campus
For whatever reason, the night life on campus it self is dead. On friday and saturday most of the students migrate down to mission beach to party and USD is a ghosttown. Night life is good off campus and down town though.

World View
Although USD seems like a bubble, and has been called university of spoiled daughters, there is so much taking place that pertains to the outside world and global issues. The Institute of Peace and Justice is a location where social justice and human rights are advocated for and there are many clubs and organizations involving issues outside of CA and even the USA.
