Because the psychology major is so popular, is it also much more selective than other majors?

I feel like most science majors are selective.

No. But it is harder to get into classes which makes it hard to graduate in 4 years.

Yes, since it is impacted there are requirements that must be done ahead of time before you could even declare Psychology as a major.

Mmm... its more about getting into the classes. You have to do the pre-reqs before you declare and phsycology is really hard to get into.

It's not more selective per say, it's just very difficult to get your classes each quarter.

Yes, the grades required to declare are pretty high and the classes fiill up quickly. There are many classes required for the major and prerequisites for declaring the major.
