Much Better for Upperclassmen
Unless you live in international village, the swanky new dormitory/dining hall then as a freshman dorm life can be kind of crappy, with broken heaters and the like, but as an upperclassman your options get much better. the school leases properties in several apt buildings, and the upperclassmen dorms are all very nice

Disrespected by Real Cops, NUPD Take It Out on Us
NUPD, while a necessary force on campus (Northeastern is close to some sketchy areas) usually has nothing better to do than bust kids for drinking and smoking. Punishments at Northeastern are very severe, for instance even through marijuana is decriminalized in MA and Boston cops don't care about it, if NUPD catches you, you're automatically on academic probation, and will be suspended next time you get in trouble for anything. Be smart, don't smoke in a freshman dorm room, you will be caught, and be smart about drinking as well

Variety of Lots, but Expensive
a very small minority of students have cars on campus, but there are quite a few different options for parking. Since its Boston, a car is pretty unnecessary
