SDSU Takes the Cake
As a student who has always had conflicts with teachers in the past, I was surprised at the quality and (mostly) down-to-earth nature of my SDSU professors. Sure, there are some bad eggs, but overall I look forward to meeting my new teachers every semester. They are also (usually) very helpful with office hours! The only bad thing about SDSU are the Cal State budget cuts, which make it extremely difficult to get classes you need. Good planning can fix this though. Overall I love my school!

SDSU Dining = Sadface
When you first visit SDSU you will probably feel your mouth watering when you see our food courts with such choices as Rubio's, Taco Bell, and Panda Express, but I guarantee after a few months of eating it you will never want to again. Nobody wants to eat at the mall food court every day of their life. We also have a Dining Hall, but it's a ripoff (around $10 for dinners that aren't all that great) and on-campus markets which seemingly contain nothing but overpriced chips and candy. Don't get a meal plan! I was hungry my entire freshman year, couldn't find anything good to eat, and still gained 20 lbs. simply because of how unhealthy everything is.

You're on Your Own
SDSU is kind of a commuter school, so on-campus transportation i s close to none. The Red&Black Shuttle does make rounds on weekdays, but I have never taken it nor do I know anyone else who has. However, many off-campus apartments provide shuttle services to school, and if you're trying to get OFF campus, we have our own city transit station that can take you all over San Diego, even to Tijuana if you're feeling a fiesta.
