Good Teams

Athletics at Pepperdine are actually (as far as talent and skill goes) very good. Several of the teams are ranked among the best in the nation. Athletes are all very friendly. Being an athlete, you have to go to most of the other sports home games (required by all coaches). Sadly, the only other people you see supporting those games are athletes from other teams. This school needs more spirit!!

Don't Know Yet...

I am a freshman and have only been here for a little while. I came without my car from the state of washington and I immediately figured out a car is a MUST! you have to have a car or you will be stuck on campus all hours of your life going crazy on what seems like a pretty little island. yes i have walked down to malibu and its an ok walk except for the walk back up. i underestimated what not having a car would do to my sanity. i am hopefully shipping one down later this semester. the classes are okay. not too hard but definitely not easy. there is nothing going on on campus and i have spent the last weekend stranded here and alone while everyone else goes home or somewhere. the campus is literally empty. so yes, basically, my life would be completely different if i did have a car and when i get one, i think my life will become almost 100% better and me and my other friends who don't have a car can finally hitch rides with me sometimes and start to have a social life. :) the view is gorgeous by the way. and the weather is perfect. couldn't ask for a better setting.
