Only about 10% of students choose to live off-campus, though the appartments that I have been to have been generally nice. Skidmore garuntees on campus housing all four years.

Skidmore is an incredible school, full of great people and incredibly intelligent professors. If you are willing to work hard you can fly high here.

Though the personalities of the guys and girls on campus range greatly, the general trend is towards hipster in politics and dress

Saratoga Springs – Saratoga is small enough where you get that cozy small town feel but close enough to big cities where you dont feel lost. The downtown itself has an awesome array of coffeeshops and restaurants that are perfect for taking that special person out on a date. It also hosts the world's oldest continuously running coffee shops, Caffe Lena, where almost every day of the week you can see local and world-wide performers.
