Best Food and Polar Points- Few Stray from Standard 19-Meal Plan
Bowdoin Dining is a prestigious insitution that is proud of its history of superior quality and variety in the national campus review scene. The two dining halls, Thorne and Moulton offer significantly different dining atmospheres and are accomadating to every length of meal and diet type. The Pub and Cafe accept the 100 dollars worth of "Polar Points" for after-hours eating that are standard with each meal plan. The 10:30-1am "super snacks" are a luxurious refuge from the thursday-saturday night drinking scene.

Social Houses or Aparments. Freshmen Are Spoiled
All freshmen live in one of 8 bricks in doubles, Quints or Quads. These are all large, conveniently placed, and great places to meet your best friends for the rest of the year. Gender-split restrooms, co-ed floors, laundry and bike-rooms in the basement. Each Freshmen dorm is affiliated to a sophomore-inhabited social house or Quasi-Frat. They throw the parties and many campus events. Upperclassmen choose from a variety of campus-owned apartments (none further than a half mile from the center of campus, the 15 floor quad tower, or or dorms. Chem-free housing is also available. Apartments are better for parties and highly desireable, however, the distance and housing lottery pressures can be frustrating.

The Few Availble Options Out of Public Eye
Most students live on campus due the amazing options, convenience, and food options. Those that live off campus live quite close but are often frustrated by hypersensitive neighbors or difficult landlord agreements.
