Police on Campus
The police are always patrolling the campus and are available 24/7. Safety boxes are located around the campus. Hampton University is gated and provides a safe atmosphere.

HU Is Diverse!
The students at Hampton University are diverse...
Students come from all over the country (representing all 50 states) and we even have international students who represent Hampton University. There is a girl in my bio class from Macedonia. One of my peers is Korean. There are two students from Signapore that stay in my dorm. There is a Canadian student who pledged Kappa...I could go further...and there are several students from the caribbean such as Barbados and Trinidad. There are bi-racial students as well (ie. black/white & black/asian).
We have an event at Hampton University called-Battle of the States. Its very fun and it allows students to represent their region
Students have different religious backgrounds: christian, baptist, muslim, etc.
We all have different backgrounds (some come from low-income family homes and some from high-income. Some come from single family homes and some two parent homes)

Shuttlebus! Where Art Thou?
We have HRT...I take it to the shopping center
We also have the maxbus which goes out to Norfolk
The prices for the HRT buses are great!!
My only problem is the time!!-the buses stop running at around 8:15pm :( I come from NYC where everything is 24/7
