University of Central Florida's Knightlife
Around the campus there are local bars and clubs that cater generally to the 18+ crowd. Some are even from walking distance, so transportation isn't an issue. On campus, some of the fraternities and/or sororities throw parties occasionally. Also, every month on a Friday, the school puts on an event called "Late Knights" and this is a good a alternative for those who would like to remain on campus. There are also shopping centers around the school, and a bunch of restaurants, for those who aren't into the party scene. If you want to have a good social life, joining clubs and organizations will help you tremendously when it comes to network & make friends.

Love Being a Knight!
I do not regret in no way whatsoever my choice of coming to the University of Central Florida. I had did a college tour of Florida State University, University of Florida, University of South Florida and Florida International University. UCF's campus SOLD me, it is absolutely beautiful. The school spirit is beyond amazing. You are here for school, so studying has to be your number one priority. If you balance out your schedule with school being number one, there is no reason why you can't find time for a social life and enjoy your college experience.

During Homecoming Week, on the Friday before Homecoming, there is an event called "Spirit Splash." During this, the whole school (well, most of it) runs in the fountain at the same time, in celebration of the Homecoming game.
