The Library at CSUN are nice. It has plenty of updated reference materials and knowledgeable employees to assist you.

Apartments Are Available but a Bit Pricey.
I would suggest finding a room in a home they are usually less expensive than renting an apartment.

If You Live in the Neighborhood Walk to Class Because Parking Is Difficult to Find.
Parking and traffic is always a nightmare from about 7:45am-8:30am and again from 4:30pm-5:30pm. Try to get there a bit earlier to avoid the traffic and find a good parking spot.
