In this major there are endless career opportunities because it incorporates a little bit of advertising, marketing and communications you get a well rounded education with a vast array of classes to choose from. The internship/job opportunities are abundant. The internship/career center is very helpful in finding a internship in your desired major. A senior internship is required to graduate, giving you experience in your desired field as well as building your resume. Due to the fact that the Fashion Institute of Technology is world renowned there are many job opportunities through their alumni association program. The workload in this major is moderate, many projects, and everything is graded on a "real world scale”. Many classes will enhance your portfolio whether you’re interested in fashion journalism, public relation and advertising. AMC major offers specific classes if pursing these fields and many more, I chose this school based on this. Here at FIT you start right into your major you don’t waste time taking liberal arts courses when you apply you apply directly into the field of interest.you take a mix of liberals and intended major so once freshman year is over you have a clear idea of what career path is right for you.
