Ole Miss
Ole Miss has a great variety of foods from subway to pizza to sushi. It's also a very easy process to pay. Johnson Common is also a great place on campus, total buffet! Ole Miss also has a great flex plan that is $200. You can use it in the Union, the JC, or any of the vending machines, and what you don't use, rolls over to the next semester!

The Connection at Oxford
I am at the Connection right now, and I will be moving next year. Rent is high, and if you renew your lease rent goes up higher. Also the office help are the complete opposite, no help whatsoever. The overall apartment is a little above average, but just no the place for me.

Ole Miss
There are many scholarship opportunities at Ole Miss, just not if you are a transfer student. I was a transfer student and was very limited to what scholarships I could get.

Ole Miss Art Department
The Ole Miss Art department has many great artists. The workload tends to vary based on who you have as a teacher. Like in printmaking, I have already made 30 prints in two weeks, but then in my 3-d design class we did only 4 projects. It has been a great experience.

Ole Miss Turner Center
I know this is going to sound dumb, but I have yet to venture to the top floor BUT I am taking a water aerobics class this semester and it has been so much fun. The staff have been very helpful and the facilities are great, including the pool, the locker rooms, and the showers.

Ole Miss Transportation
Ole Miss has excellent transportation. It seems like there are bus stops on every corner, and it's free if you show your student i.d. Also it makes many stops. I know it comes to the Connection every 15 min. so there is always a bus coming soon.

Ole Miss Parking
First things first, the permit costs for a commuter are very affordable,HOWEVER it is affordable because it is awful. There is never commuter parking close to anything. It doesn't matter if you get there 30 minutes early because there won't be any parking open until students get out of class. Tickets have gone up since we lost alot of our funding after this mascot nightmare. Especially when you park in 30 minute parking behind the union, and you are parked there for 31 minutes, you can bet you will have a ticket.

Overall Ole Miss Experience
I give it a B+, but I blame it on myself. I have been so worried about school and work that I have not had time to fully enjoy the Ole Miss experience. But still it gets a high grade even though I am not involved because I love my school!
