The drug scene mostly exists in the Greek community. You will almost always witness drug use at fraternity parties. Non Greek students tend to stick to drinking.

Campus housing is adequate but nothing exceptional. The newest dorms are the greatest distance from the center of campus.

Greek life is very prevalent at NCSU. There is an "us" and "them" mentality. Most fraternity and sorority members are not friendly to nonmembers. And it seems their main focus is to party.
