Diversity at Boston College

C+

Difficult

The school tries, the student don't.

Yes, it's very preppy and conservative. There are a lot students who are well off. People naturally gravitate toward those that look like them, toward people that they feel comfortable with.

It's really up to the students to make it better. The administration tries really hard, but it can only do so much.

If you're not used to it, it can be scary at first (I was terrified when I first came here.) But you get used to it. And you stand out really easily!

Campus Housing at Boston College

A-

All luck

Freshman year, you're either stuck on Newton Campus (which means you have to take a bus to get to the main campus) or on Upper Campus (far, far away from anything, and you climb a lot of stairs to get there). Obviously upper is better.

Sophomore Year- Vandy and 90s. Those who are unlucky get stuck on college road, which is right next to where the freshmen live.

Junior Year- a lot of students go off campus, some people study abroad, more likely to live on Lower Campus, which has better dorms altogether

Senior Year- everyone wants the Mods (personally I think they're disgusting); but only 30% of the class can live there

All in all I think it's fine.
