Diversity in Many Ways Here at the University of Richmond
Though the University of Richmond is small and commonly known to be a very homogeneous campus in regards to monetary demographics, it depends who you talk to. Most of the student athletes, which comprise a large amount of the enrollment at our small school of about 4,000 undergraduates, are of hispanic, african-american, asian, or latin descent. Being a student-athelte myself, I tend to be friends with other athletes, and most of my friends are very diverse in race and thinking. But for most of the school that does not play sports, students tend to be non-hispanic, and with an affluent background. Usually at the dining hall, you will see a mix of both types of people sitting together and eating luch which is really refreshing to me! Racism seems to not be much of an issue here and though some birds of a feather flock together, most of the student body is respectful of each other.

Sub-Par for Real Party Animals
Not many people have off-campus parties, and the ones that do are usually private parties. The Forest apartments on campus usually have something going on at least once a weekend, but there can be several weeks at a time were nothing crazy happens as a campus whole. The Frat Lodges are really popular for free dance parties, but they are open one night or two a month if that. Underage nightlife consists of going to the lodges and hooking up with random people you may or may not have met before. Overagers tend to have closed apartment parties and are NOT very friendly with people who decide to crash an apartment, no matter who they are.

Drinking Outweighs Some Drug Use
Drinking is far more popular than drug use, though it depends who you talk to. I don't have much experience with this but I hear about people taking Aderol at exams and smoking some pot.
