TSU is very safe in the daytime. The campus police are always on duty and they're very friendly.. Nighttime, not so much. There are campus police are usually not around until you call them to be escorted somewhere. The school is in 3rd ward so I would highly recommend not walking at nighttime, male or female.

There are lots of places to park. Almost a parking lot behind every building. The only problem is finding a parking place. I'd suggest arriving early for a good spot.
