Upperclassman Housing
Campus housing is great once you're an upperclassman. All students (sophomores and above) have the option of living in apartment-style resident halls, with their own kitchens, bathrooms, common rooms, etc. These apt-style rooms generally house 4 people, but it can vary from building to building. West village can be expensive, but it's really nice. Freshman housing isn't that great, but what college does have nice freshman dorms? Overall, the housing is pretty nice.

HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY
Hockey games are by far the most highly attended sporting events at Northeastern. Our hockey team is pretty good, and the best part of the season is when they play in the Beanpot tournament vs. BU, BC, and Harvard. Basketball games get some decent attendance as well. NU is a D1 school, and all of our sports teams are pretty good. Overall, lots of school spirit and the games are always a blast.

Northeastern...
We're in Boston so it's cold from November through about March. As long as you're okay with wearing a winter coat to a party and walking to and from class with some snow on the ground, you'll be fine. When the weather is nice, everyone is outside playing frisbee, lounging, studying, walking, etc. The weather definitely isn't my favorite part about NU, but it's not horrible.

Good Looks
There are a lot of different kinds of people at Northeastern, depending on what you're looking for. There are your typical "jock" guys who only wear NU apparel. You have your more academic students, many of which are engineers or science majors. Girls are the same way.

CO-OP CO-OP CO-OP
The cooperative education opportunity is by far the most unique part of a Northeastern education. It gives you a break from classes, you get to work in your field, you can network/get references. Many times, a co-op will lead to a possible job after graduation. NEU has had the co-op program for over 100 years. We are very well connected, and have had students do co-op on every continent in the world (even Antarctica!)
