Boring After a Week
Newark, Delaware doesn't have much to offer. Sure, there's a sketchy bowling alley and a movie theatre with cheap movies but Main Street gets old after about a week of being on campus. However, new additions have recently come to Main Street, so hopefully it will liven up for now.

Nifty Places
The athletic centers are usually crowded and besides the fact that places like the Independence Hall gym has giant windows where people can see you exercising, they've got pretty good equipment. All the student centers, although crowded, have good seating and some good food. UD loses points for taking Taco Bell out of Trabant and replacing it with crappy Aramark Burger Studio. The library is best on the East Coast - my best friend's private school in Maryland took field trips to the library so the students could get books for research and take notes. Campus activities are nice, when you find out about them, it's best to check the website. Campus aesthetics- campus buildings are Gregorian and a LOT of people come here just because "it looks pretty" so aesthetics are not a problem.

Unknown Experience Opportunities
They get a B- for bad advertising. I am currently a Senior and just found out that you can have an RA internship here if you're interested in becoming an RA. I am currently a Curatorial Apprentice with the University Museum, which I only discovered because I was looking at the Museum's website. Most people don't know we have University Museums, let alone you can be an Apprentice and not have to get a museum internship off campus!
