Study, Study, Study
Attending Virginia Tech was always a dream of mine growing up. Once arriving at VT I knew it was the place for me. I love the people and the atmosphere. I was a straight A student through high school and was expecting college work to be just as easy. I soon realized that I would need to study more than I had before. Classes are tough, but the resources that are available here are great. Tutors are easy to find and very willing to help out in any way possible. Most professors will take the time to help students in need and meet with them outside of class if necessary.

Gym Power
Virginia Tech recently remodeled one of the gyms on campus. The new gym is bright, clean, and welcoming to all. All the equiptment is up to date and numerous so one does not have to wait around for a machine. Staff work hard to train and assist people when there is a need.

Willing to Talk It Over
The Virginia Tech regulations are pretty straight foreward and easy to follow. I do not drink, so I am not sure exactly how all those issues are handled. I do know that small issues can be easily disscussed and can sometimes be let go with only recieving a warning. It is good to know that the people here really want the students to be able to continue without a bad record behind them.
