Great and Great Looking
Gustavus has so many resource centers centralized on campus so that everyone can have access to them virtually whenever they need them. Beck Hall was recently finished and has set the standard for college architecture. Many of the buildings on campus have old roots with a very modern twist. There are three floors of the library, each accomodating a different noise level preference. This makes it so much easier to find a study space that works for you. The caf is open until 11 and the food is amazing! The Lund Ceneter (gym) is also open late to ensure you don't gain the "freshmen fifteen."

Great Food and Healthy Choices
Gustavus has one of the best cafs in the nation, there are so many options that everyone can enjoy. A lot of people are worried about the freshman fifteen and at Gustavus, it is very easy to avoid that. There are always fresh fruits and veggies and a section specifically for vegan and gluten-free meals. Everyone can find what they like, and it is easy to make good food choices. There are three meal plans to choose from, the first being very small (eating in the caf only about once a day), the second is normal (eating in the caf regularly), and the third is huge (for most guys, especially football players).

Greeks Blend in
Gustavus students are not allowed to rush until their sophomore year. This gives the students a chance to get to know the Greek system and get to know the students particiating in Greek Life. Students accepted into the Greek Life do not live together and their main purpose is to volunteer for the community and, of course, party and have fun.
