Eating Out in Montreal

Even on a student budget it is easy to enjoy oneself in Montreal. Especially in the Plateau and Mile End areas there is a plethora of ethnically-diverse restaurants, many catering to vegetarians and vegans, but many also with options for omnivores. All is delicious, and moderately-priced. The grocery stores, including Provigo and Quatre Freres, generally have medium-to-low-priced produce and meat, and well-priced packaged food.
