I have never taken an online course at Portland Community College. However, the classes I have taken (interaction) has been great in my success towards getting an education and diploma.

Computer Network – The computer network is reliable for students and staff. It does have its moments, but the computer network isn't something to complain at the school.

I haven't been able to travel to other local colleges; Portland Community College revolves around student achievement. Student leadership programs are highly valued, as well as the Multicultural centers available at the different PCC's. The multicultural center has helped me more than my classes have all terms with homework, life, community building, and study.

New Year – Having graduated from High school, I was excited to come back the following Fall to continue with my education. I recently finished Fall term and everything went along well; Financial aid helped, along with having a steady schedule in the mornings. My classes were exciting, and it was fun to be in classroom with many different ages.

The Career resource center, along with many other programs, helps you find a job around Campus or in the community. I haven't had experience with them, but I've seen posts and handouts of jobs available outside of their office at Rock Creek. Sylvania also had a seasonal job fair, which helped a lot of students gather information about the companies, and a job.

I'm a psychology major, and the classes have excelled my expectations that I had from them. Not only did I learn a variety of sub-disciplines involved in my major, I was able to accumulate what I learned from those classrooms and incorporate them into my life by evaluating my lifestyle, relationships, and goals. I feel prepared to transfer on to a university with a feeling of accomplishment and courage.

Academic Experience – We have a variety of studies for students; the professors here engage us with other classmates to focus more on group work. Only problem I have with is that the professors will become more engaged with us. I feel that they're not willing to lend the hand to students when it comes to answering e-mails and answering questions about assignments.

When it comes to tuition & financial aid, grants have given me sufficient amounts of money to pay for my classes. Classes can be a bit more challenging, and you don't pay as much as you would at a University!

Everybody is accepting of the different cultures and people that come across one another. I'm not very social, but I notice a lot of student interaction, regardless of their economic and racial background.

School gives students a variety of things (open gym, computers, clubs) for student interaction. I find the facilities helpful when I have time to wait for my classes during my break.
