Girls
The majority of the people in Irvine I feel are obsessed with looking good, i.e. skinny with the best clothes. People are rich here with nice clothes and cars. I feel there are more girls on campus then men. That the women are a lot more better looking than the men on campus. I almost feel it's a bit unfair for the girls to have "bad pickings" whereas the men here a quite lucky. The girls here dress very stylish or trendy. The campus does seem to have its party people, but also in stark contrast a very nerdy population. I feel the campus is just a facade and no one is real. Like everyone is just looking to put up this idea or look, but I'm looking for genuineness.

The Greeks
I feel like it is a big deal on this campus. That the only way of having fun is to go to a party, which by the way aren't even all that. Like I said before, I feel people here are lost and just putting up this idea of the "crazy college" life. It's all a facade.

Drugs
There is actually a few people who do do drugs on campus. Depending on who you hang with is also a factor into how much you use. Getting drugs can be pretty easy though if you have the money and know the right people. People have gotten caught though, so I wouldn't suggest it. I have seen a fellow hall mate who never did drugs and started to, to feel cool and another who was beginning to experiment. Like I said people try too hard here.

Parking
Irvine has set up a system where free parking is only on a in known basis. It's hard to find any and there are only a few options. Parking can also get tough, because we are a commuter based school. Plus people here are rich and do have their own cars to drive around and thus park. Parking is mostly tight, packed and ridiculously expensive. School parking for a complete full year is close to $900 and accrues in price every year. That's almost a grand just for parking..ridiculous.
