There are different sorts of groups from all over the country and regardless, many Chicago residents aren't as mean as they sound. For the most part, many groups get along with one another but there's that occasional competitiveness when it comes to sports.

Get the Hook-Ups
There's parties thrown left and right on the weekends, just find the group that's for you. Don't go to clubs, they're expensive and not too fun, you will see some creepy people.
